Selected by RVO to Join the Slush Startup Mission

We are delighted that Asimovo has been picked by Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) as one of the Dutch startups to join the Slush Startup Mission. The Dutch mission will include 20 startups, multiple investors and additional supporters. We will be joining 13,000 startups, investors and operators in Helsinki from the 18-21st November.

Slush is a 3day event like no other – Slush is a founder-focused event, specifically aiming to creating an event that pushes the limits on creativity and technology so that attendees are left craving more. Slush brings on stage the most successful tech entrepreneurs, iconic investors, and key ecosystem players to share their honest advice on the art of building generational companies. Slush has evolved into the largest gathering of venture capital on the planet. Collectively, investors attending have over 3 trillion dollars (US) of assets under management.

Asimovo were fortunate to be invited to join the mission after the first round of the application process. Others who were less successful were given a second opportunity by applying to pitch at Slush Enschede, on 29th August 2024.

As a warmup we attended Enschede Slush’D. With >550 attendees this was a mini-version of what Helsinki will have to offer. There were three stages full of interesting speakers, panel discussions and pitches. The great weather meant that the event spilled easily outside to all the well arranged outdoor spaces. With conversations and meetings happening in every spare corner, a larger networking area is definitely needed for next year.

It was great to meet some of the other startups who will be part of the mission and see others battle it out on stage for the final startup slots. Thanks to the investors and founders for the great conversations and talks. Great organisation and a great atmosphere. Bring on Helsinki!
